Roofing manufacturers guarantee their shingles and products but many lack value. Cedar products are not all they used to be. Slate provides a lifetime of protection, supplied and installed by skilled craftsmen and provides an enduring beautiful look. Environmentally friendly and extremely low carbon footprint.

Rain Screen — The BC Building Code requires that all two or more story walls be Rain Screened. We have chosen to do all the walls and used a 2.5 lb galvanized diamond lath. The lath feels rough when you run your hands up and smooth when you rub down. Unlike 2” wire or plastic alternatives this lath provides an additional layer of protection and will last as long as the house.

6" metal, half-round gutters — These gutters not only provide a look that is consistent with the style of the house. they are stronger, (will take a ladders weight and snow loads). They are rare and add an individual quality to the appearance of the house.
